We've shot thousands of headshots for actors and models during the last 20 years.I have worked in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Europe, and Asia. I specialize in fashion and beauty, and try to bring style and a fashion sensibility to everything I shoot.
I also shoot business headshots for corporations and professional firms, ranging from small one-man companies to the largest corporations and firms in the world. Business Client List.
Prior to becoming a photographer, I owned and operated a Michigan Avenue advertising agency, where I created and art-directed print ads and TV commercials. I have won awards for creative excellence and helped many clients in different industries grow their businesses.
My formal education was in mathematics, physics, and philosophy. My interests are diverse, especially music, art, movies, and books. I'm always learning new digital techniques to bring to my photography, retouching, and web design.
We keep it simple, friendly, and relaxed. If you've shot before, you can bring your experience and ideas to the table. We'll show you some new ways to work, based on our experience shooting thousands of actors and models during the last 20 years, and together we'll achieve results even more impressive.
What if you have no experience? No problem. Don't worry. Just put yourself in our hands, and we'll direct and guide you through the shoot. Most people find the experience quite enjoyable. We're very serious about our work as we hope you are. Nevertheless, we'll both have fun while we work, which will be evident in the finished photo.
It will show a high energy level in addition to revealing inner and outer beauty and character. Since our first headshot 20 years ago, we've been focused on results. That model and actor, Charlotte Ross, soon went on to become a star of film and TV.
Best of all is our postproduction work. It really seals the deal. Your retouched image will show true star power.
Looking good. I've seen photographers say on their websites that you you don't have to look good in your headshot. I don't believe it. How about you?I always thought that maybe they're trying to apologize in advance for failing to deliver a shot that really pops.
I think that whenever someone needs to see a photo, how you look in that photo makes a difference. This is true for both actor and business headshots. Not everyone has a classic Hollywood look, whatever that is. But even a "character" actor or model needs to look good in his or her own way, needs to possess a unique and distinctive beauty.
Even if someone is very quirky in one or more ways, that person's photo should reveal a certain charm and attractiveness. And it can if shot and prepared well. That's what we work hard to do.
